Apple’s next Apple Watch Ultra to feature larger display, analyst says

Apple’s next Apple Watch Ultra could feature a new, larger Micro LED display, according to Haitong International Research analyst Jeff Pu, who forecasts that overall Apple Watch shipments are likely to drop this year.
In a research note shared with investors and obtained by 9to5Mac, Pu claims that Apple will replace the OLED display on the current-generation Apple Watch Ultra and replace it with Micro LED technology on the next iteration of the wearable, which would give the device a higher display brightness with improved color accuracy.
Pu suggests that the next Apple Watch Ultra, which will likely be released in 2024, will have a larger display beyond the 49mm display on the current model, claiming to have heard from sources that the display will increase an additional zero point one seven inch to 2.1-inch, although it is unclear whether the overall case of the Apple Watch will increase, or simply that the bezels will be shrunken to achieve the larger display.
Made from aerospace-grade titanium, Apple Watch Ultra is designed to be worn during extreme activities. The case rises up to surround all edges of the flat sapphire front crystal, protecting the Retina display.
