A17 Bionic chip to be exclusive to iPhone 15 Pro models

Apple is expected to debut its new A17 Bionic chip next year with the launch of the next-generation iPhone models, although it is believed that the new chip will be exclusive to the high-end iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, with the regular iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus likely to use an existing chip, as Apple did with the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.
Apple’s new A17 Bionic chip is expected to be manufactured based on TSMC’s enhanced 3nm process known as N3E next year, according to Nikkei Asia, which claims that N3E will bring improved performance and power efficiency.
The report suggests that like Apple did with the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, which feature the A15 chip from the previous-generation iPhone 13, Apple will likely equip the regular iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus with a previously announced chip, reserving the new A17 Bionic chip for the premium iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
