Apple working on ‘multiple new external monitors’, reports Gurman

Apple is working on multiple new external monitors, including an update to the Pro Display XDR, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who claims that the release of at least one of the new external displays will come after the launch of a new M2 Ultra Mac Pro, which is said to release during 2023.
According to Gurman, the new monitors — like the Studio Display launched with the Mac Studio — will include Apple silicon, although no further details were shared on the multiple new monitors, their price points, or what they will bring over the Pro Display XDR and Apple Studio Display.
It has previously been reported that Apple was working on a 27-inch mini-LED Studio Display, with a release slated to happen in October this year, although those plans never came to fruition.
Apple’s most recent external display — the Apple Studio Display — was released in March, featuring a 27-inch 5K Retina screen and the A13 Bionic chip.
