Apple releases iOS 16.1.2 with Crash Detection improvements and enhanced compatibility with carriers
Apple has released iOS 16.1.2, bringing bug fixes and improvements to iPhone including improved compatibility with wireless carriers and Crash Detection optimizations on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models.
iOS 16.1.2 is available three weeks after Apple rolled out iOS 16.1.1, which brought relatively vague improvements following the release of iOS 16.1 with Live Activities for third-party apps, iCloud Shared Photo Library support, Clean Energy Charging in the US, and more in October.
Available now over-the-air, Apple’s new iOS 16.1.2 update can be downloaded by opening the Settings app, tapping General and selecting Software Update.
