Apple rumored to redesign Messages app next year with new Home view, AR features, and more
Apple is rumored to be working on a completely redesigned version of the Messages app for iPhone and iPad, according to leaker “Majin Bu” on Twitter, who suggests that the redeveloped iMessage experience will include a new home view, video clips, AR features, and more.
The leaker suggests that the new Messages experience could be released alongside the launch of Apple’s long-rumored AR/VR headset, with AR experiences featuring as part of the app redesign, introducing “new chat features in AR.”
“According with my resource, Apple is working on a new version of iMessage completely renewed,” the leaker said. “New home, chat rooms, video clips, and new chat features in AR.”
