iPhone 14 Plus still available for launch day delivery in the US and UK
Despite pre-orders for the iPhone 14 Plus beginning over two weeks ago, the new 6.7-inch handset is still widely available for launch day delivery next month, with Apple.com showing most, if not all, storage configurations and colors for the new devices as available for delivery on October 7.
Apple announced the iPhone 14 Plus earlier this month, with the new 6.7-inch device launching later than the regular iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, which saw deliveries and in-store availability begin last week.
Apple has been rumored to be seeing lower than expected demand for the regular iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, with shipping estimates for the high-end Pro models slipping into October, and respected industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claiming that Apple is asking suppliers to concentrate on manufacturing efforts on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max production by supposedly converting iPhone 14 production lines to iPhone 14 Pro lines to improve the availability of the higher end models.
In the United States and the United Kingdom, the online Apple Store is showing practically all iPhone 14 Plus models as available for delivery on October 7, with in-store pickup also available on launch day in the UK for the new 6.7-inch model.
