Users report iPhone 14 Pro camera shaking and rattling in apps such as TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat

Apple released the iPhone 14 Pro on Friday, with users around the world getting their hands on the new devices after they were announced earlier this month. As more people get their hands on the new iPhone, an issue has been discovered where the iPhone 14 Pro camera starts to shake and make a rattling sound in some third-party apps, including TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat.
The issue, which has widely been reported across social media, appears to be a software bug rather than an issue with the new iPhones themselves, with the problem appearing to be limited to the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, possibly linked to the new sensor-shift optical image stabilization technology in the latest iPhone series.
The issue only appears to occur in third-party apps and not Apple’s own Camera app, suggesting the issue will be software related.

Apple is yet to officially acknowledge the issue or share any guidance on potential fixes, although a software update will likely soon be released to address the bug.
