Apple delays some iPhone 14 Pro pre-orders planned for launch day delivery
Apple is seemingly delaying the delivery of some iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max deliveries, with some customers who had pre-ordered the devices for delivery on launch day finding out that their order has been rescheduled to the end of September, according to 9to5Mac, which cites readers reporting the issue on social media.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max started last Friday ahead of in-store availability and deliveries beginning today, September 16. Customers in their masses reported issues with the online Apple Store when pre-orders went live, with the delay to shipments originally planned for launch day delivery likely due as a result of these glitches.
As reported by 9to5Mac, Apple is pushing estimated delivery dates back by around a week to September 23, with the site also hearing from readers whose orders have been pushed to September 30.
The delays appear to only be affecting the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, and not the base iPhone 14.
