YouTubers test new Apple Watch SE in early first-look videos
Like we saw yesterday with the early first-look videos for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, Apple has given YouTubers an early first-look at the new and improved Apple Watch SE, which will see deliveries and in-store pickups begin tomorrow after pre-orders started last week after Apple’s ‘Far out’ special event.
The Apple Watch SE, which is targeted at first-time Apple Watch owners, features an all-new color-matching back case design, the S8 advanced dual-core processor, the same processor that is in Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch Ultra, making it 20 percent faster than the previous generation, along with Crash Detection and international roaming.
Apple Watch SE maintains the same case design as the last model released in 2020, but features a redesigned matching back case made of a nylon composite material, making it lighter than the previous model.
With watchOS 9, Apple Watch SE users will be able to use the new Compass app designed by Apple in addition to the enhanced fitness and wellness features. Apple Watch SE is available in 40mm and 44mm aluminum cases, in midnight, starlight, and silver finishes, and is compatible with existing Apple Watch bands.
Here’s everything you need to know about the new Apple Watch SE
The Apple Watch SE starts at $249 (US).
