Apple creates #AppleEvent ‘hashflag’ for upcoming ‘Far out’ special event

Ahead of next month’s “Far out” special event, where Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch SE 2 and all-new “Apple Watch Pro,” the Cupertino company has created a special ‘hashflag’ custom icon on Twitter for the #AppleEvent hashtag.
Apple’s no stranger to hashflags. All of its recent announcements have had event-themed hashflags on Twitter, which show whenever a user tweets with the #AppleEvent hashtag.
Apple announced the upcoming “Far out” special event on Wednesday, which kicks off at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on September 7.

The event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater and will be available to watch live at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time, with Apple inviting members of the media to watch the special event in person for the first time since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
