Apple touts iPhone 13 splash resistance and durability in new ads
Apple has shared two new iPhone 13 commercials touting the device’s splash resistance and durability, highlighting the Ceramic Shield as part of the ongoing “Relax, it’s iPhone” series, which demonstrates different aspects of the iPhone.
Kicking off with a spot titled “Shake,” Apple shows an iPhone user sitting by the pool as their dog jumps into the water. As the dog gets out of the pool, it walks up to its owner and begins to shake and dry off, splashing water all over the owner and their iPhone. The ad sees the iPhone get wet, closing with the title “iPhone 13. Spill and splash resistant.”
The second ad, titled “Edge” shows an iPhone on the edge of a kitchen counter, out of sight of its owner. The phone begins to ring, with the vibration of the call pushing the device closer and closer to the edge of the work surface. After a second call, the iPhone suddenly falls to the ground with a loud thud, with Apple showing the caption “iPhone 13 with Ceramic Shield. Tougher than any smartphone glass. Relax, it’s iPhone.”
