Apple rumored to launch 2022 Apple Watch Pride bands ‘fairly imminently’
Apple is rumored to be launching this year’s new special edition Apple Watch Pride bands as soon as this week, with Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claiming in-store marketing materials and updated Watch tables have started arriving at Apple retail stores, suggesting an imminent announcement and release.
“New Pride version of the Apple Watch should be launching fairly imminently,” said Gurman in a tweet on Monday. “Marketing materials and updated Watch tables have started arriving at retail stores — for placement next week. Actual new bands should start arriving later this week.”
Apple has been releasing special pride edition Apple Watch bands for several years to honour and celebrate international pride month in June. Last year, Apple released a new Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop and Apple Watch dynamic watch face, launching alongside a new Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop.
