HomePod 15.5 update brings performance and stability improvements

Apple has today released HomePod 15.5, bringing nondescript performance and stability improvements to the HomePod.
Released alongside iOS 15.5, iPadOS 15.5, watchOS 8.6, tvOS 15.5 and macOS Monterey 12.4 on Monday, HomePod 15.5 is available to download now via the Home app on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
“Software version 15.5 includes general performance and stability improvements,” reads Apple’s release notes, not offering any information on the type of changes implemented in today’s new update.
iOS 15.5 has added new Wi-Fi signal indicators in the Home app and fixes an issue where home automations, triggered by people arriving or leaving, may fail, suggesting the new HomePod 15.5 update may also be linked with these two new additions.
