YouTuber iJustine given rare inside look at Apple Fitness+ studio

YouTuber iJustine has been given a rare look inside Apple’s state of the art Apple Fitness+ studio in Santa Monica, California as part of an interview with the iPhone maker’s Vice-President of Fitness Technologies, Jay Blahnik.
The interview offers up some insights into the large Apple Fitness+ studio, revealing that the studio set features 13 robotic cameras that record each workout without the need for a large crew to be in the room with the trainers as they film sessions, also sharing a look inside the recording suite where the director watch sessions and choose camera angles behind the scenes.
As well as opening its doors for iJustine, Apple has also offered an interview with British GQ who also spoke with Jay Blahnik about its subscription fitness service, saying no expense was spared in the Apple Fitness+ studio’s construction. “No expense has been spared in this studio’s construction so that every part of the production process — from writing to engineering and, of course, the workouts themselves — can be done from one location,” adding that because the building is so large, it rests on “700 enormous stainless steel saucers instead of the planet’s surface.”
British GQ note how every Apple Fitness+ workout is filmed in the “same giant room with a wooden sprung floor and a ceiling that is truly packed to the rafters with aerial camera rails and lighting rigs.”
