Apple Card promo offers $75 sign-up bonus for new referrals

Apple has returned its Apple Card referral promotion that one-sidedly rewards new Apple Card users with $75 as a sign-up bonus when being referred by an existing user – though the referer/the person making the referral does not receive any bonus for making the referral.
Apple has started emailing Apple Card holders to invite them to welcome new users to apply for an Apple Card. New users who are approved for an Apple Card and make their first purchase within 30 days of signing up will receive $75 Daily Cash from Apple.
Even though the program relies on existing users to make the referral, notably, Apple isn’t offering any reward to the person making the referral.
“It looks like you received an exclusive Apple Card invitation from a friend. Congratulations,” Apple says when a user is referred to apply for an Apple Card. For a very limited time, when you apply using the link below and open a new Apple Card by May 10th, we’ll give you $75 Daily Cash when you make your first purchase within 30 days.”
Apple notes that new users must create an account prior to May 10 to qualify for the promotion and that the promotion only applies to new Apple Card applicants and not new participants of the Apple Card Family plan.
Apple Card is only available in the US. Users can make purchases using their Apple Card with Apple Pay on their iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac, or with the optional titanium Apple Card banking card, which features no printed card number or security code, making it the world’s most secure credit card.
