Earth Day Apple Watch Activity Challenge reward not showing for some users
Today only, Apple is hosting a special Apple Watch Activity Challenge which rewards users who complete a workout for 30 minutes or more with a trio of animated stickers and a virtual trophy in the Fitness app, however, the virtual reward doesn’t appear to be showing for some users, despite them completing the challenge.
Taking to Twitter and online forums, Apple Watch users are reporting that after recording more than 30 minutes worth of activity on April 22nd, the Fitness app on iPhone is still showing the Apple Watch Activity Challenge as incomplete, causing some frustration and confusion.
It doesn’t really look as if there is a way to force the Earth Day reward to show, with users on Twitter reaching out to Apple Support for advice, not wanting to miss out on today’s special challenge.

Apple Watch users faced similar issues with the Valentine’s Day Apple Watch Activity Challenge in 2021, with Apple at the time referring anyone who was experiencing the issue with their award not showing to a webpage on Apple.com which said that “You will earn the award within 9 days of completing the Activity Challenge,” also advising users to keep their iPhone and Apple Watch on the same Wi-Fi network to allow them to sync correctly.
Does anyone else has a problem with Apple Watch not counting Earth Day Challange? I did my 30+ min exercise and nothing!

However, it looks like the missing rewards aren’t a widespread issue, with posts also showing screenshots of the special iMessage stickers and shiny Fitness reward online too.
