Apple hosting ‘exclusive online session’ to introduce Apple Business Essentials

After announcing the launch of Apple Business Essentials last week, the new subscription service for business user in the US that offers device management, support, and iCloud storage for a single monthly fee, Apple has said it will be hosting an “exclusive online session” to introduce the service to small business owners on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. PDT.
First spotted by AppleInsider, the hour-long webinar will be hosted by Apple product experts to “dive into the details” of the Apple Business Essentials subscription and to show it in action.
Apple announced the all-new Apple Business Essentials subscription last November, introducing three subscription plans touted as being a “complete solution that makes employee onboarding simple,” allowing a small business to configure, deploy, and manage Apple products from anywhere.
Within Apple Business Essentials, Collections enable IT personnel to configure settings and apps for individual users, groups, or devices. IT managers can enforce critical security settings such as FileVault for full-disk encryption on Mac, and Activation Lock to protect devices that may be lost or stolen, with measures in place to ensure these can’t be switched off by employees.
