Apple has released macOS Monterey 12.3, enabling the long-awaited Universal Control feature that allows users to work with a single mouse and keyboard and move between Mac and iPad, adding a wide range of new emoji characters, an additional Siri voice, and more.
Available now alongside the release of iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4, macOS Monterey 12.3 can be downloaded through the Systems Preferences app. Today’s new update brings with it Universal Control in public beta, making it possible for users to work with a single mouse and keyboard and move between Mac and iPad seamlessly. Today’s update brings 37 new emoji characters including a Melting Face, Face with Open Eyes and Hand Over Mouth, Face with Peeking Eye, Face with Diagonal Mouth and Face Holding Back Tears to the Mac, with a new non-binary Siri voice now available users in America.
