5G iPhone SE now available for pre-order
Apple’s newly announced 5G iPhone SE is now available to pre-order, with deliveries and in-store availability beginning on Friday, March 18.
Announced at Tuesday’s “Peek performance” keynote, the new iPhone SE features the A15 Bionic chip from the iPhone 13, 5G connectivity, better battery life, improved durability, and a new camera system with Photographic Styles, Deep Fusion, and more for a new, higher price of $429 (US).
The device features the same overall design as the previous version announced in 2020, featuring an iPhone 8-style design with a 4.7-inch LCD display, chunky top and bottom bezels, a Touch ID Home button, a single rear camera with LED True Tone flash and more.
The new iPhone SE uses a toughest glass in a smartphone on the front and back. Apple touts that the iPhone SE brings better battery life than the previous model, with the A15 Bionic chip improving performance while gaming, using 5G, using AR, and more.
Apple’s 2022 iPhone SE comes in three colors — midnight, starlight, and (PRODUCT)RED. The device are launching in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage configurations.
