Apple reporting Q1 2022 earnings results on January 27
Apple has scheduled its Q1 2022 earnings call for January 27, set to report the results for the first quarter of the year after reporting a September quarter revenue record of $83.4 billion, up 29 percent year over year in Q4 2021.
Announced a day after Apple officially topped a market value of $3 trillion on Monday, becoming the first company in the world to do so following a strong month for AAPL stock in December, Apple’s Q1 2022 earnings results are expected to see Apple give an update on the global chip shortage that is hitting iPhone and iPad production, as well as an insight into how well customers received the iPhone 13, AirPods 3 and redesigned MacBook Pro models following their launch towards the end of last year.
The call, which customarily is chaired by Apple CEO Tim Cook and Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri will be held at 2 p.m. PDT/5 p.m. EDT with Apple releasing its full earnings report 30 minutes prior. In typical fashion, Cook and Maestri will take part in a short question and answer section with investors afterwards, which will also be available to stream live on Apple.com.
