New AirPods Pro rumored to launch next year

Apple is rumored to be working on new AirPods Pro that are expected to release before the end of next year, featuring an all-new design and a ‘significantly upgraded’ chip.
According to TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who published a note to investors earlier this month, Apple’s next-generation AirPods Pro are forecast to arrive in the last quarter of 2022, with earlier insights from Kuo suggesting that the earbuds will bring “innovative AirPods experience[s],” which could hint at earlier rumors of the earbuds introducing new health-monitoring features, such as a small accelerometer that could potentially determine body movement or something that could help a user monitor fitness while wearing their AirPods.
The second-generation AirPods Pro are expected to receive a major redesign, with Apple rumored to remove the short stem and give the earbuds a similar design to the Beats Fit Pro which sit inside a listener’s ear without any overhang.
