New $4.99 Apple Music Voice Plan now available
Apple’s new Siri-based Apple Music Voice Plan is now available with the release of iOS 15.2 today.
Priced at $4.99 per month, the new subscription offers subscribers access to the service’s catalog of 90 million songs and is described as offering users “an effortless music experience just by using [their] voice.”
The Apple Music Voice Plan is available now in 17 countries and regions, including Australia, Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Apple Music Voice Plan subscribers will get a customized in-app experience with suggestions based on the listener’s music preferences and a queue of recently played music through Siri. The service is geared towards users who listen to Apple Music through their HomePod or AirPods, giving access to Apple Music solely through Siri requests, with no standard Apple Music user interface.
