Rumored ‘iPhone SE Plus’ expected to release in 2023
Apple’s rumored large-screen iPhone SE is expected to release in 2023, with a minor upgrade planned for early next year, according to TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Reports suggest that next year’s new iPhone SE will feature the same design as the current model, which boasts a 4.7-inch Retina HD display, Touch ID Home button, and chunky top and bottom bezels like the iPhone 8, with the new generation device supporting 5G cellular with internal components from the iPhone 13, such as the A15 Bionic chip.
Since Apple announced the current-generation iPhone SE in April 2020, rumors have suggested a larger “iPhone SE Plus” is in development that will offer all the same features as the 4.7-inch model with a larger LCD display.
We expect Apple to release a new iPhone SE in 2023 with a larger display than the 1H22 SE’s 4.7-inch and 4GB of memory support (vs. 3GB in the 1H22 SE). We predict that Luxshare-ICT will be the NPI supplier for the 2023 iPhone SE.
As the current iPhone SE has the same design as the iPhone 8, it is likely that the rumored “iPhone SE Plus” would look similar to the iPhone 8 Plus, with a 5.5-inch display.
