Apple Services revenue continues to skyrocket, reaching 745 million paid subscriptions
Apple has posted its financial earnings results for the fourth fiscal quarter of 2021, reporting a September quarter revenue record of $83.4 billion, up 29 percent year over year, with the company announcing Services revenue of $18.27 billion in the fourth quarter of 2021, up around 25% from the year-ago quarter.
Combining all of Apple’s paid services, from Apple Music and Apple TV+ to AppleCare+ and in-app subscriptions through the App Store, Apple CEO Tim Cook has revealed in an interview with CNBC on Thursday that the company now has 745 million paid subscriptions, up 160 million year on year, which is up five times in five years, according to Cook.
Services accounted for 21.9% of Apple’s revenue in fiscal Q4 2021, helping drive significant results for the quarter.
