New MacBook Pro and AirPods now available to pre-order
Apple has kicked off pre-orders for the newly announced third-generation AirPods and redesigned MacBook Pro, with customers able to place their orders online now through Apple.com and the Apple Store app ahead of deliveries and in-store pickups beginning next week.
Announced at the “Unleashed” keynote, Apple unvailed its long-rumored new third-generation AirPods which boast an AirPods Pro-style redesign, spatial audio support, sweat and water resistance, and more.
Offering an extra hour of battery life over the previous generation, the new third-generation AirPods offer up to six hours of listening time and up to four hours of talk time. The new AirPods use computational audio to bring similar audio experiences found on the AirPods Pro and AirPods Max — like Adaptive EQ and spatial audio with dynamic head tracking.

The star of today’s show was Apple’s all-new 14-inch and redesigned 16-inch MacBook Pro models, which come with new M1 Pro and M1 Max custom chips.
As the rumor mill suggested, the machines feature a complete redesign. The 16-inch and 14-inch models are all new with the return of ports, a new notch and edge to edge design and the return of MagSafe. The Touch Bar has been replaced by full function keys, sunken in a new deeper colour background for the keyboard. The screens are larger but retain the same overall footprint as the previous 13.3-inch and 16-inch models.
