YouTubers go hands-on with iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro in first-look videos
Apple has sent several iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro review units to a handful of YouTubers and members of the media ahead of Friday’s in-store release, offering unboxing and first impression videos from the likes of Marques Brownlee, The Verge, Engadget, Rene Ritchie, iJustine, and more.
In a nutshell, the iPhone 13 keeps the same overall design as the iPhone 12 it replaces, this time available in five new colors including Pink, Blue, Midnight, Starlight, and (PRODUCT)RED with a diagonal camera layout and a 20% smaller TrueDepth camera system. Similar to the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Pro also features the same overall design as the previous-generation iPhone 12 Pro, with Apple introducing a new “Sierra Blue” color option. iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max introduce Super Retina XDR displays with ProMotion, supporting an adaptive refresh rate from 10Hz to 120Hz. Apple touts that the new iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max feature more 5G bands, allowing them to work in more places on 5G for greater coverage and performance.
