Errors hinder iPhone 13 pre-order process

Apple has kicked off pre-orders for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro Max, but several errors have hindered the process for customers wishing to upgrade to the new devices.
Large numbers of customers took to Twitter on Friday to report issues pre-ordering using Apple Pay and Apple Card, with others noting issues upgrading through the iPhone Upgrade Program.
Reports show that Citizens One, Apple’s partner for the iPhone Upgrade Program in the US, has been rejecting applications for those enrolling in the program, despite approving applications during the pre-approval process.
Apple Pay and Apple Card both appear to have had issues processing payments, with customers forced to use alternative payment methods, which prevented Apple Card customers from receiving their 3% Daily Cash cash back.

Although approved via #iPhoneUpgradeProgram could not complete transaction with #AppleCard. Kept getting errors.
Had to use an @Amazon Prime Visa card & 1 of my orders is delayed 3 weeks now & no 3% back!@CitizensOne @CitizensBank
