Apple hosting next Apple Watch Activity Challenge on August 28
Apple will be encouraging Apple Watch users to “appreciate the beauty of national parks all over the world” later this month with its latest Apple Watch Activity Challenge, which will reward users who record a hike, walk, run, or wheelchair workout of a mile (1.6K) or more on August 28 with a trio of animated stickers to be used in iMessage, and a virtual trophy in the Fitness app on iOS.
Taking part is simple. Apple Watch wearers can begin a workout in any app that logs data to the Health app on iOS.
The challenge is open to users around the world.
Let’s take a day to appreciate the beauty of national parks all over the world. On August 28, earn this award by recording a hike, walk, run, or wheelchair workout of a mile (1.6 km) or more with any app that adds workouts to Health.
