iPhone and iPad expected to see supply constraints this fall
Apple CFO Luca Maestri has answered questions from investors with Apple CEO Tim Cook following the company posting its financial earnings results for the third fiscal quarter of 2021 on Tuesday, reporting June quarter record revenue of $81.4 billion, up 36 percent year over year.
During the call, Maestri noted that Apple is forecasting supply constraints that will affect the iPhone and the iPad in particular out of the full product lineup in Q4 2021, with Cook saying he doesn’t want to predict how the fall constraints could consequently affect the holiday quarter.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 13 towards the end of Q4 2021, which covers the months of July, August, and September.
