120Hz ProMotion display, A15 chip, smaller notch and more rumored for iPhone 13
Taiwanese research firm TrendForce has published a new report sharing what it forecasts for Apple’s next-generation iPhone, claiming 120Hz ProMotion displays are heading for the iPhone 13 Pro, smaller notches are coming to all four new devices and more.
The report points to Apple announcing four new iPhone models in September. As rumored, the iPhone 13 is expected to have a smaller TrueDepth camera and sensor system, which houses the technology that powers Face ID. Leaks have previously shown glass panels expected to be for the upcoming devices, showing the visibly smaller notch and a repositioned earpiece.
The TrendForce report claims Apple will keep the pricing the same for the iPhone 13 as the current-generation iPhone 12 series, offering an iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, although names aren’t confirmed yet.
