Apple Watch Series 7 set to feature thinner bezels, faster processor, more
Bloomberg reporters Mark Gurman and Debby Wu have published a new article claiming the Apple Watch Series 7 will likely feature a faster processor, improved wireless connectivity and an updated screen, according to unnamed sources with knowledge of the plans.
The report suggests Apple has several new health-related features in development, including a body temperature feature originally intended to launch this year and a blood-sugar sensor, which is “unlikely to be ready for commercial launch for several more years.”
Bloomberg’s report points to this year’s new Apple Watch likely being slightly thicker than the current-generation due to a new display lamination technique that brings the display closer to the front cover and updated ultra-wideband functionality.

Last month, leaker Jon Prosser shared concepts showing what the Apple Watch Series 7 will probably look like. The device is expected to feature a flat-edged design similar to that on the iPhone 12 Pro, iPad Air, and iPad Pro, citing a “very highly trusted source.”
Prosser also suggested Apple has been testing “experimental colors” for the Apple Watch, including a new green finish.
