Apple shares ‘Beyond Stereo’ ad touting Apple Music Spatial Audio
Apple is promoting Apple Music Spatial Audio with a new “Beyond Stereo” ad that brings to life the 3D audio feature that started rolling out at no extra cost to Apple Music subscribers last week.
Spatial Audio, Apple’s name for Dolby Atmos, allows musicians to create immersive audio experiences. The feature enables artists to mix music so the sound comes from all around and from above.
Set to “Mystery Lady” by Masego and Don Toliver, the ad shows a woman opening the Music app on her iPhone to play a song in Spatial Audio. The ad then offers a visual representation of Dolby Atmos, demonstrating what it is like to walk through a song and hear the artists and musicians playing all around you.
