Apple has announced that the HomePod mini will be available to purchase in more countries and regions later this year, including Austria, Ireland, Italy, and New Zealand.
As part of today’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple said with iOS 15 coming this fall, Siri will support the languages of the respective countries the HomePod mini will launch in, enabling users to ask Siri to play a song, send a message, get the news, control smart home accessories with HomeKit, and more.
Apple introduced the HomePod mini last year, featuring the same Siri-focused experience as the first-generation HomePod, in a new shrunken 3.3-inch design. The speaker is currently available in the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Spain, China, Mexico, and Taiwan.
