90% of all devices introduced in the last four years run iOS 14, Apple reports
Apple has published its latest iOS 14 adoption data, reporting that 90% of all devices introduced in the last four years now run a version of iOS 14.
In the data shared to the Apple Developer webpage on Thursday, Apple said 85% of all devices now use iOS 14, with iPadOS 14 on 79% of all devices, upping to 91% when looking specifically at iPads introduced in the last four years.
Compared to Apple’s last usage data update, iOS 14 adoption has grown 4% since February this year for devices introduced in the last four years as Apple prepares to unveil iOS 15 next week at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference ahead of the software’s public debut later this year.
The statistics are based on devices that connect to the App Store and don’t include devices that download the latest software but aren’t connected to an Apple ID.
