Six in 10 iOS users plan to buy AirTag, Blue the most popular iMac color
Six in 10 iPhone and iPad users plan on buying an AirTag, with Blue being the most popular color out of Apple’s range of colorful new M1 iMacs, according to a survey by SellCell.
According to the report, which asked 3,000 iPhone and iPad users to pick one feature of iOS 14.5 that they like the most, App Tracking Transparency was the most popular, followed by Unlock with Apple Watch, Apple Maps crowdsourced data, the updated Find My app, and PS5 and Xbox Series X controller support.
Over six in 10 (61%) iPhone and iPad users intend to buy an AirTag, SellCell reports, with 54% of people surveyed thinking Apple’s $29 price point for AirTag is a good deal, with 67% think accessories should come with the device and not be purchased separately.
Potential iMac buyers were asked to pick their preferred color option out of Apple’s seven new finishes, with Blue being the most popular, followed by Silver, Green, Purple, Yellow, Pink, and Orange.
Interesting tidbits from the survey claim 42.4% of people intend to track their keys with AirTag, the return of Touch ID is one of the most requested features for the iPhone 13, more than eight in 10 (82%) respondents want to see the Face ID feature on upcoming iMacs and Macbooks, and a whopping 92.6% are locked into the Apple ecosystem and would never consider switching away to Android.
