UK Apple Stores reopen as lockdown restrictions lifted
Apple Stores across the UK have reopened today as lockdown restrictions in England were lifted on Monday, allowing customers to book one-to-one shopping sessions and Genius Bar appointments as well as pick-up of orders placed online and through the Apple Store app.
Stores across England closed their doors in January as COVID-19 cases in the country grew over the holidays. Many stores had been hit with local lockdown restrictions towards the end of the year, which had left stores unable to allow general walk-in shopping and free browsing of the Apple Store.
Online, Apple shows most locations are operating their normal opening hours, with each location requiring vistiors to undergo temperature checks and wear a face mask during their visit.
We’re currently open for shopping by reserving a one-to-one session with a Specialist, pickup of online orders, and Genius Support by making an appointment. We are open with health and safety measures and look forward to welcoming you.
Although stores in England and Wales have reopened, Apple’s retail locations in Scotland remain closed until further notice.
