Apple to host Earth Day Apple Watch Activity Challenge on April 22
Apple will host an Earth Day Apple Watch Activity Challenge on April 22, rewarding users who record any workout of 30 minutes or more with the Workout app or any app that adds workouts to Health with special iMessage stickers and a reward in the Fitness app.
As reported by 9to5Mac, who shared images of the virtual achievements users will earn (above), Apple will also host a new International Dance Day Challenge for the first time on April 29, though specifics are unknown at this time.
Apple’s last Apple Watch Activity Challenge was the Heart Month Valentine’s Day Apple Watch Activity Challenge in February, which required users to add 60 minutes worth of activity to their Exercise ring.
Let’s get out and celebrate the planet on Earth Day, April 22. Do any workout for 30 minutes or more to earn this award. Record your time with the Workout app or any app that adds workouts to Health.
The new Earth Day challenge isn’t shown yet in the Fitness app however, Apple will likely promote the challenge closer to the time.
