Leaker now suggests Apple event scheduled for April, not March 23
Leaker Jon Prosser, who vowed to shave his eyebrows off if Apple doesn’t host an event on March 23, has today claimed that the iPhone maker’s rumored March event won’t take place until April.
Prosser tweeted on Wednesday that he will explain the reason for the event happening in April, and not March as originally claimed, in the next episode of his Front Page Tech YouTube series.
When it eventually takes place, the special event is expected to see the launch of Apple’s long-awaited AirTags, new iPads, and possibly an updated Apple TV.
The event is in April. 🤦🏼♂️
I’ll explain on FPT.
RIP my eyebrows. 🥸

Its unknown whether Apple has decided to postpone the March event that multiple sources claimed would take place on the 23rd, or if simply the sources have got the date wrong, and the special event had always been planned for April.
Alongside AirTags and new iPads, it was initially thought that Apple would introduce new third-generation AirPods at the March event however, recent reports have suggested the new earbuds won’t enter mass production until later this year, damping hopes that we will see them announced anytime soon.
