2021 AirPods shown in renders based on leaked supply chain info
Apple’s next-generation AirPods have been shown in renders allegedly based on leaked supply chain information, showing the long-rumored redesign for the earbuds, which is expected to be announced officially later this month at an event on March 23.
Shared by Gizmochina, the renders show the supposed 2021 AirPods with a design similar to the AirPods Pro, with a shorter stem and a more compact charging case, matching previous leaks and reports.
While it is impossible to confirm at this stage whether the renders truly depict the official design of the new earbuds, it is believed that the forthcoming AirPods will inherit the design of the AirPods Pro, supposedly featuring silicone ear tips, touch controls that replace the single and double-tap controls, and more.
