Refurbished M1 Mac mini now available from Apple
Apple has added the M1 Mac mini to its Certified Refurbished online store in the United States and Canada, offering a discount of $140 compared to the price of the machines if bought new.
The machine joins the M1 MacBook Pro and M1 MacBook Air on the discounted online store, making all three of Apple’s first-generation Apple Silicon Macs available second-hand for the first time.
The M1 Mac mini features an eight-core CPU and an eight-core GPU, bringing mini up to three times the CPU performance and six times the graphics performance compared to the previous four-core Intel model.
The discount is approximately 15 percent compared to a brand new model. The M1 Mac mini with 256GB SSD and 16GB RAM is priced at $759 (down from $899) and the 512GB SSD and 16GB RAM model is $929 (down from $1099).
Like all refurbished Macs sold through the official Apple Certified Refurbished online store, the machine comes packaged in a new box with new accessories. Apple thoroughly inspects, tests, and cleans all machines before they are sold, coming with Apple’s standard one-year warranty, leaving them virtually indistinguishable from a brand new model.
