Target to open ‘Apple Shopping Destinations’ in stores this month
American retail giant Target announced on Thursday that it will soon be opening new “Apple shopping destinations” inside its stores across the United States this month, offering customers a new, dedicated shopping experience for Apple products and accessories.
The new experience will see Apple get its own dedicated space in 17 Target stores this month, with additional locations rolling out in 2021 and beyond. Stores to get the new experience include, Monticello, MN, San Jose, CA, Oklahoma City, OK, Allen, TX, Hurst, TX, Irving, TX, San Antonio, TX, Gainesville, FL, Orlando, FL, Clearwater, FL, Miami, FL, North Wales, PA, Newark, DE, Woburn, MA, Nashua, NH, and Latham, NY.
In a press release shared by Target, the company’s executive vice president and chief growth officer, Christina Hennington described the new shopping destinations as offering customers “enhanced service[s] and expanded offerings.”
“Apple products are popular with Target’s guests, and this new, dedicated shopping experience offers enhanced service and expanded offerings, building on our strength as a go-to destination for electronics,” said Christina Hennington, executive vice president and chief growth officer at Target. “This new model was created with Target’s guests in mind, and we’ll continue to learn and enhance the experience through future rollouts later this year.”
Customers who purchase an Apple product either in-store and online will get 5% off their total when using a Target RedCard.
