Prosser claims 2021 iMac could come in five colors, new Mac Pro to look like ‘stacked’ Mac mini

Leaker Jon Prosser has shared what he claims to be new information on Apple’s upcoming redesigned iMac, alleging that the machine will come in the same five colors as the fourth-generation iPad Air, as well as suggesting Apple’s next-generation Mac Pro may look like several ‘stacked’ Mac minis.
Shared in a video posted on Wednesday, the FrontPageTech host said that Apple’s next iMac could launch in Silver, Space Gray, Green, Sky Blue, and Rose Gold color options, offering a glimpse at what the machines could look like with exclusive renders.
Prosser claims that the new iMac won’t feature Face ID, but will have an edge-to-edge display, describing the redesign as a mix between the Pro Display XDR and iPad Pro. According to Prosser, the new Macs are currently in the prototyping stage and the concepts have been created based off information from sources.
Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman has previously said the next-generation iMac will be “one of the biggest visual updates to any Apple product this year,” with the machine expected to launch alongside a new Mac Pro.
Prosser suggests today that the new Mac Pro will look like “three to four Mac minis stacked on top of each other,” around “half the size” of the current Mac Pro.
