Apple on Tuesday released its second iOS 14.5 developer beta. Part of the release is 217 new emoji, including a mix of skin tones for couples, gender options for emoji with beards, a heart on fire, an updated syringe, and more.

As reported by Jeremy Burge of Emojipedia, iOS 14.5 has a mix of new and updated emoji characters. With the release, Apple has changed its syringe to go from showing a syringe with blood to a syringe with a clear medicine. The update also sees Apple swap its old Headphone emoji to look more like AirPods Max, which launched in December.

Users will now see more skin tone options when choosing emoji couples, allowing for different skin tones to be set for each character in a couple.

Apple launched its first iOS 14.5 developer beta at the beginning of the month. The update will bring several new features, including a new way to unlock an iPhone with an Apple Watch when wearing a face covering, AirPlay 2 support for Apple Fitness+, Dual-SIM 5G support, and more.

iOS 14.5 is expected to arrive at some point in spring.
