Valentine’s Day Apple Watch Activity Challenge reward not showing for some users
Today only, Apple is rewarding users who complete the Heart Month Valentine’s Day Apple Watch Activity Challenge by adding 60 minutes worth of activity to their Exercise ring with a special reward in the Fitness app, however, the virtual reward doesn’t appear to be showing for some users, despite them completing the challenge.
Taking to Twitter and online forums, Apple Watch users are reporting that after recording more than 60 minutes worth of activity on February 14th, the Fitness app on iPhone is still showing the Apple Watch Activity Challenge as incomplete, causing some frustration and confusion.
It doesn’t really look as if there is a way to force the Valentine’s Day reward to show, with users on Twitter reaching out to Apple Support for advice, not wanting to miss out on today’s special challenge.
Thank you for reaching out & great work! We’re happy to help. It can take up to 9 days to receive the award after achieving the goal. You can read more about this here: https://t.co/79utQs61tg We hope this helps!

Linking to a support document online, Apple is referring users who are experiencing the issue with their award not showing to Apple.com, which says that “You will earn the award within 9 days of completing the Activity Challenge,” also advising users to keep their iPhone and Apple Watch on the same Wi-Fi network to allow them to sync correctly.
Congratulations on the new record! We can help with the award you’re looking for. When you complete a goal, you can expect to receive the award within 9 days of completing the Activity Challenge.

It looks like the missing rewards aren’t a widespread issue, with posts also showing screenshots of the special iMessage stickers and shiny Fitness reward online too.
