App Store, Apple Music, iTunes Store, Apple Books and more hit by outages

Update: Apple has now resolved the issues with the services below, however, several additional services are now showing as experiencing outages. Affected services include iCloud Backups, iCloud Bookmarks & Tabs, Calendar, Contacts, iCloud Drive, iCloud Keychain, Mail, Notes, Storage Upgrades, and Photos.

Apple has reported ongoing outages across several of its services including the App Store, the Mac App Store, Apple Music, Apple Music Radio, Apple Books, and iTunes Store, leaving some users unable to use the services until a fix has been made.

Apple’s System Status webpage shows that the outages started around 5 am (PST) today, with the company warning users may find the services “slow or unavailable.”
