Apple celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day with full homepage tribute
As it has done for quite some time now, Apple is celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the US today by updating its homepage to show a quote from the American civil rights movement leader.
Over the past couple of years, Apple has dedicated their home page to Martin Luther King Jr., with Apple CEO Tim Cook usually taking to Twitter to share a quote to honor King who famously contributed to the American civil rights movement in the 1960s.
In previous years Apple has given its employees a day off for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, with the company offering special gift-matching promotions, donating $50 for every voluntary hour worked by its employees, although it’s unknown if anything similar has been done this year.
