Apple to make “big announcement” tomorrow
Apple will make a “big announcement” tomorrow, says “CBS This Morning” host Gayle King who interviewed Apple CEO Tim Cook about said announcement, which will be made public on Wednesday, Jan. 13.
Revealed within a clip of the upcoming interview, King said “it is not a new product… it’s something I think is bigger and better than that,” without giving away what the announcement will be.
During the small snippet of the interview aired today, Cook was asked about the storming of the U.S. Capitol. Cook said that he thinks it’s “key” for people to be held accountable for their actions, saying no one is above the law when asked whether Donald Trump should be held accountable for his involvement in the raid.
I think it’s key that people be held accountable for it. This is not something that should skate. This is something we’ve got to be very serious about, and understand, and then we need to move forward. I think no one is above the law. That’s the great thing about our country, we’re a rule of law country. I think everyone who had a part in it needs to be held accountable. I don’t think we should let it go. I think holding people accountable is important.
