Apple CFO Luca Maestri and Jony Ive reportedly considered for role as next Ferrari CEO
Jony Ive, Apple’s former Chief Design Officer, is said to be a candidate alongside Apple CFO Luca Maestri to become Italian luxury car manufacturer Ferrari’s next CEO, reports Reuters.
Ferrari CEO Louis Camilleri suddenly left the company on Thursday due to “personal reasons,” which has caused rampant speculation regarding his potential replacement.
Apple announced Jony Ive’s departure from the company last year, revealing the British designer, who had been part of Apple since 1996, would be forming an independent design company that would count Apple among its primary clients.
Luca Maestri has held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Apple since 2014 after he transitioned from the role of the company’s vice president of finance and corporate controller.
