Apple launching Apple Fitness+ on December 14, priced at $9.99 per month
Sweatbands at the ready! Apple is launching Apple Fitness+, its new pay-monthly subscription fitness service, which gives access to guided workouts on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV on December 14, for $9.99 per month, or $79.99 per year.
Announced alongside the release of the Apple Watch Series 6 in September, Apple Fitness+ is launching with Cycling, Treadmill, Rowing, HIIT, Strength, Yoga, Dance, Core, and Mindful Cooldown classes, with new guides to be shared each week.
When a workout is selected and started on iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV, the correct workout type will automatically start on Apple Watch. During the session, the metrics from Apple Watch are shown on the screen and come to life for moments of inspiration. For example, when the trainer says to check heart rate or begins a countdown timer, those numbers will animate on the screen. And for those who like to push themselves, the optional Burn Bar shows how their current effort stacks up against anyone who has done the same workout previously.
Apple Fitness+ is coming to customers in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK, and the US.
