Apple’s new AirPods Max has a Digital Crown: Here’s what it’s used for
Apple’s all-new AirPods Max headphones feature a Digital Crown like the Apple Watch. It’s the first time Apple has brought the Digital Crown to a product other than the Apple Watch, so here’s a look at what it does and how it works on the AirPods Max.
Located on the top of one of the aluminium cups, the Digital Crown allows users to turn the control to adjust the volume, press once to play, pause, or answer a phone call, press twice to skip forwards, press three times to skip back and press and hold for Siri.
The headphones feature a separate control, called the “Noise control button” to switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode.
